2026 Summer Indoor Volleyball League

This season will be a "pilot" season for our summer indoor league. Space is limited.
The indoor league will consist of Red, Orange, and Yellow divisions. Green and other beginner-level players are recommended to join our Summer grass leagues, which are more beginner-friendly than our indoor leagues.
League Format

TEAMS & FREE AGENTS can register
With limited space, there will only be a single summer indoor league for both teams and free agents.
All registrations are part of the lottery system, and your spot is not guaranteed. Your payment is not due until your spot is confirmed.
TEAM CAPTAINS:
Team Captains must register first and already have an established CGVA official rating in your account. Ratings are viewable on your cgva.org account dashboard. You must list your selected team members when registering. Your team will be entered into the lottery, meaning you may not be selected if we are over capacity.
Your team players can start registering immediately after you have registered your team. All payments will be due after your team is selected in the lottery.
For the 2026 summer indoor season, you may register an incomplete team and we will attempt to match you with free agents. You do not need a full team to register, even just a handful of players can register together. Please list any desired positions for free agents in the "Roster Player" fields on the registration form.
TEAM PLAYERS:
Team captains must register first to create your team. After this, select Team Player registration, then choose your team to register. You do not need to wait for your team to be confirmed to register.
FREE AGENTS:
If you do not have a team, you may register as a free agent. Please register to your desired division and list your desired position(s), though we cannot guarantee we can accommodate these exactly. Free agents will be part of the lottery and given spots on an as-needed basis to fill the league. Make sure you fully understand our division system (see below) before registering, and note that we may ask you to play in a different division depending on capacity and your experience.

Indoor Rules:
All participants are required to know all rules to play. Click here to review.
League Length:
10 weeks
8 weeks of pool play
2 weeks of Tournament Play
DATES:
Mondays, June 1 - August 3
End-of-season tournament: July 27 & August 3
Cost:
$80 per person
Your payment is not due until your spot is confirmed (~late May)
Roster Format:
(Red division only) 4x4 any gender combo.
(Orange & Yellow divisions) 6x6 any gender combo.
Rating Clinic:
There will be a ratings open play on Monday, May 25th. If you are an unrated player or would like to be re-rated, you must register and attend the ratings open play to receive your rating.
Play Format:
1 Match per week, 3 games
Games will be self-reffed.
Scores played to 21, with a cap of 23 points.
Match Times:
June: 8:15-10:15pm
July & August: 7:15-9:15pm
Teams will play their match over 1 hour at the start or end of each play period.
